Who ya got to win it all this year?

Alright it's bracket time, I got mine done. So who ya got to win it all this year? My predictions...its gonna be a rematch between Pitt and UCONN. I'm from Pennsylvania, and my sister used to live in Pittsburgh, but I'm going with UCONN as national champions. Okafor will be healthy, and he's gonna shack everyone that comes near him to the hole!
So, who ya got to win it all?!

My biased Final Four:

Gonzaga over Pittsburgh
Duke over UConn

Gonzaga over Duke

 

I'm hoping the local team wins, Stanford.

 

My current final four, and this is also for the March Madness Tourney on Yahoo, is Gonzaga, Wake Forest, Conneticut, and Mississippi State. Than, I have Conneticut taking down Gonzaga in the championship game.

 

My predictions for the final four are as followed:

Gonzaga Duke
Pitt. UConn

I have the same exact final four teams, except Duke though, I have NC over Duke. I don't know why, but i guess it's because i hate duke and like NC. But yeah, UCONN all the way this year!!

 

I think Uconn takes it this year, they have a solid team!

i think Duke wins it this year.You just wait...Duhon is gonna have a breakout tournament and Duke is gonna beat Kentucky in the final!

Oh, so you just want us to pick someone else besides your favorite team? We're not jumping on your teams bandwagon! This is a bracket, and people pick who they think has the team to win it all. This ain't about just picking your favorite team, or your local team. You wanna be the only person that has UCONN?

 

I have Kentucky (I don't see Zaga as a threat), OK St (they come out of the stacked bottom of the bracket, St Joe loses to TT 2nd round), Duke (They never do it but the only threat to them is UNC and i see them losing to Miss St.), and finally UCONN??????????(big ? mark for me, UCONN/Stanford???). Dukies take out KU in the finals

 

So much love for Gonzaga? Last time I checked they have to play Michigan State, Georgia Tech (or Boston College), and Kentucky (or Kansas) before they even get to the Final Four. Michigan State has been to the ELITE EIGHT 4 out of the last 5 years and the FINAL FOUR 3 out of the last 5 years. Last year they went to the elite eight as a seven seed, so why can't they this season? Here are my non-biased selections -

Final Four:

Connecticut (N.C. State as a darkhorse) vs. Duke
Wisconsin vs. Kansas/Kentucky (sitting on fence)

Championship:

Duke vs. Wisconsin

Champion:

Wisconsin

 

Good catch on NC St, everyone is forgetting about them. UNC gets sooo much love, it's ridiculous. "Atlanta is the toughest region, poor Duke, they have North Carolina in their region!!" North Carolina sure looks like they have talent, but what have they done?? NC St outperformed them big time in the ACC.

I myself actually picked Wisconsin to win in one of my two brackets, but I backed off it later. The thing is, I see Pitt as a GREAT candidate to win it all, but I can't see them beating Wisconsin in Milwaukee. It's just a bad match-up for them. A team that doesn't turn the ball over and NEVER loses at home and that doesn't mind a slow game and with a player in Harris that can't get rattled. But still, while I think they can beat Pitt and kept them in the Final Four in that bracket I had them winning it all, I can't see them beating a real powerhouse like Duke.

Also, Kansas?? Why all the love for them? I think they'll lose to Pacific.

I actually have both Stanford and St. Joes getting knocked out in the 2nd round...yes, I said second round ....I have Alabama upseting Stanford and St Joes going down to Texas Tech...(both are obviosly just gut picks)

This is why. From my view point Duke is great because of there defense. If they didn't have that they wouldn't be where they are right now.
UCONN on the other hand has great offense and defensive. Offense wins games and defensive win champoinships and if you have both you can't lose. Remember people this is MY OPINION on the issue.
