Well in my opinion the most exiting player ive ever seen would be Darryl dawnkins. I think that he was one of the greatset abilities to dunk thru and on crowds and thats what makes a dunk or play spectacular. Id like to hears your favorites. it could be a dunker shooter passer whatever. But on of the most exiting plays of all time is when the 5'7 webb dunked on the 7'7 manute
WOW that was an impossible dunk he pulled off.

I'm a Jordan fanatic, anyone here can tell you that...however,I have to go with Dominique Wilkins. This guy WAS the Hawks for years. I have never seen anyone change the tempo of the game with one play like he did. 'Nique had some of the most dynamic and powerful moves to the basket and they came out of nowhere on anyone.

Before you say Jordan is better at that, consider that 'Nique carried the Hawks singlehandedly by himself to be an elite EC team. I've seen 'Nique explode to the basket and completely demoralize the opposing team with some of his dunks. Aside from Mike, 'Nique is the most unstoppable wing player I've ever seen.

Who would you say dunked more during games in their prime, 'Nique or Jordan? And who had the better in-game dunks, in your opinion? I think Nique had more explosive, exciting dunks during games, but Jordan had more finesse.

To answer the question, I have to go with the boring choice - Jordan. But I'll qualify that and say 80s, early-90s Jordan. His game didn't have the purity of Bird's, or the artistry of Magic's, but it was simply awesome to see him penetrate into the lane at will and create shots in the air. I wish I could have seen more of Dr. J's games in his prime, or even Maravich.

The most electrifying player this era, has to be Michael Jordan. But after reading "SkyWaler the David Thompson Story," and watching some tapes of hime he might be one of the most electrifying players of all time. But there are so many, that this is a hard topic to choose from.

I cant say Ive seen alot of NBA games, but Jordan is IMO the most exciting. He could get fouled or whatever and still put the ball in, with touch.

The most exciting is Jordan, but the most exciting that I've witnessed is Vince Carter. I just miss his early days...

Well I just love to watch Kobe. I had alot jumping up moments watching him play since his rookie year. I'm enjoying watching Lebron as well. The ol skool kats I can rarely remember playing so I can't say I was jumping up for Nique and Jordan in their primes since I hardly ever seen them play.

for me, vince carter was exciting because of all his posterizing dunks and how he gets the crowd going afterwards. i also liked the "reignman" shawn kemp because he dunked on a lot of guys and then made them feel dumb after

Well I agree it was 'Nique...and you're right Jordan was alot smoother and did things with more finesse but 'Nique dunked with force and power. It was something to see him just explode out of nowhere and throw it down...it's a shame he never had much in his career.

Vintage Vince was very entertaining. Jordan and Nique are also other favourites.

Well, obvious choices would be Jordan, 'Nique, and Magic. Other than those, I'd have to say Kobe (most excitement in 4th quarters [IMG]) and Charles Barkley (especially his early days up until his last run with the Suns).

Kobe puts me in situations where I just wanna go out and attempt the same game-winner on someone else after the game. As for Barkley, everyone remembers him from his mouth and attitude, but I remember Sir Charles blocking a shot, grabbing it off the backboard he swatted it towards, then pushing the ball upcourt and finishing it himself with a thundering dunk (yes, it was when he was a Sixer, not the Houston Rocket days [IMG]).

^You remember the year before he retired. I think it was 98 and he was already 35 and Sir Charles did a put back dunk with his elbow above the rim. That was from a standstill jump and he was already kinda old. Man he could've done the elbow dunk in the game before Vince did it in the dunk contest.

vince just does dunks never seen before, and kobe got the full package and his 4 quarters, and iverson is just fun to watch bc he hustles and plays with so much passion

Charles is barely 6'5", and throughout his career he was able to dunk the ball in the traffic off two feet with both hands. I wouldn't say he's a great leaper, but he gets up pretty high for someone so wide.
