Seems to me that we could use him. I realize he suffered an injury, but it was one that can easily be re-habbed from. I think it was a mistake.
We waived him to sign some other chump. He's not doing much, and a little worse than when we dropped him.
He had torn his ACL while a Blazer. We waived him to make room to sign Chris Johnson if memory is intact. It was a good move for the team to have a guy on the court rather than not in 2010-11. Yes, he still had potential, but we had to play games too.
His name began with an F, I think. He had started for the Spurs and after a couple weeks with us, he retired. What was his name?
If we're at the point where we are wondering why we waived Pendergraph, and thinking he could have helped us this year, our outlook must look bleaker than I thought.
The real question is, why did Pritchard need to add gobs of Allen's money to the trade, to get Pendergraph for Sergio? Every draft, Pritchard bought low picks with millions of dollars from the Allen advantage, and then drafted poorly, with the Oregonian indoctrinating us on how wonderful he was.
Maybe the Blazer management was reading this forum and learned that he sucked, was a waste of a 2nd round pick, and would never make it in the NBA. Another classic example of fans being impatient with young players.
I'd trade Pendergraph for Babbitt or...fuck, I'm drunk right now and I can't remember the useless limey's name. Maybe if he wasn't so damned useless I could remember it. Freemont or whatever. Fuck him.
