Now, im not saying that football is THE best ball sport in the world, if anyone thinks the opposite feel free to say why. Football is better than league because: 1. It requires more thought. Ok, league requires planning etc, but football requires a higher degree of coordination and strategy. 2. More skill is involved in football. I think most people would agree that controlling a ball with your feet is alot more difficult than holding it in your arms. Plus i dont know bout you guys, but running in a straight line onto oncoming defenders is not what i call skill, or thought. 3. Higher level of fitness. thats pretty straight foward. I mean one thing, they play 10 mins longer than league. 4. also, in order to score in league you plant the ball on the ground, plus you can score in an area in the entire width of the field. In football, you have to score within a certain area, and past a player with a significant advantage (the goalie can use his hands)
Rugby guys are just fat and overweight and today in my mates house rugby was on the tv and the players were slapping there knees and chanting in some forgien accent I thought they were chairleeding
Rugby League bores me (unless the melbourne storm are winning), Rugby Union is alright but still football is a much better sport.

Rugby league is a great sport. But so is football. I'm a Storm member, and a Victory member. Storm got to the Grand Final and lost, I was there. Victory got to the Grand Final and won, I was there. WHAT A NIGHT!
I've always loved league, but for some reason I never started playing it. I wish I did, because just playing after the Storm games there were people asking if I played because they thought I had talent.
Chop you saw me in PE the other day lol, running 50m down the sideline after that interception. Yeah it was tag but still, I outran everyone but Dion and he came from the side lol.
