<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>September 8, 2006 -- To: Eric ManginiFrom: Andrew MarchandRe: The MediaCC: Al DavisDear Coach:You better win.It is well-documented that you have been less quotable than a mime this preseason. You have limited information to the point where we doubt you would confirm that Sunday's opener begins at 1 p.m.Nobody is expecting miracles, but if the Jets don't at least show improvement, the media is going to attack you like the Bears' 46 defense. You have failed to feed the media beast, which makes it hungry. It is just human nature. If you show little respect for someone else's job, then most people aren't going to give you any benefit of the doubt. There will be a little extra dig here, a rip there. This is the careful path you have chosen. You have not allowed anybody inside, so you seem a lot less human, which is how you will be treated if things don't go well. This is the reality of the business in a competitive media market. So The Memo offers some friendly advice: Just win, baby.</div>http://www.nypost.com/sports/marchands_mem...eek_sports_.htmWho the hell does this guy think he is? If I was his boss, I would fire him on the spot for just killing his own credibility.
