<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>?Troy Murphy was just terrible?maybe I should?ve anticipated that. (Mike) Dunleavy was a disaster ? didn?t rebound, didn?t guard, didn?t do anything. Baron Davis, as much as he tried to do some things, was a negative. He pounded the ball too much, he didn?t run the break, he didn?t move crisply.? ? Don Nelson.?I didn?t know where to go. It was one of the first times in my coaching career I just didn?t know what to do. I didn?t know what play call to make. I didn?t know what lineup to make. Whatever I did, whatever I tried was just wrong.? ? Don Nelson.</div> I wish more coaches were this honest.

Sam Mitchell is another coach that wont sugar coat anything. It's good that Nelson is brutally honest like this. Hopefully he can end their playoff drought in the near future.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Ellis had 15 points and two steals, and Biedrins added eight points -- several on crowd-pleasing dunks -- and four rebounds. Earlier in the day, Nelson said that Biedrins had earned himself a spot in the starting lineup, effective today against Utah. After two games, the message is clear.</div>It's taken Nellie 2 games to figue out that Biedrins is a starter and Foyle sucks. Monty never found out in 162 games.

I heard one guy say "well, there's no reason to throw monty under the bus like that. Nelson even took a shot at him, saying he's a 'college guy'". Well, he's certainly not an NBA guy, so what should we call him? A YWCA guy?

Yeah I love any coach that has that much honesty and doesn't try and amke things sound better than they are. I must sy I had doubts about him makign as much of an effect for the Warriors as a lot of people expected, but he has proved me wrong. The Warriors have been playing great with their new up-tempo style of play that nellie brought back to the Warriors and they have really turned their fortunes around so far.
