I was looking at the first rankings of the season and I don't understand how UCLA is ranked 6th in the nation. They do still have Arron Affalo and Luc Richard Mbah a Moute but other than them the roster is filled with unproven sophmores and freshmen. There's hardly any leadership on this team and I don't see how they are even a top 15 or 20 team in the NCAA.

    Arizona should finish before them.

Hopefully we'll take them off their high horse on December 9th... then again, we have to play LSU four days before that. It will be a tough road.

Why? Well, besides that they were in the championship game last year, they acquired big man Kevin Love (who was one of the highest ranked high school players along with OJ Mayo). Look for UCLA to have a good year.

I forgot to check their ranking for the official standings. Still even ten seems high imo. I would've thought they deserve to be aroound 15-20.

Any team being led by Aaron Afflalo is top ten worthy. The kid's a beast.Really, though much of the team is freshmen and sophomores, they are very deep in talent. The young guys have looked poised in the two games I've seen them. They run a very good offense off of picks regarding Afflalo and the big men. They still have that Mata guy who plays like a warrior. They are top ten worthy, in my opinion.

My Bruins are playing great. Aaron Afflalo is playing incredible, Mata is is doing a great job inside, Mbah Moute* is playing very well and is one of the best players on the team along with Afflalo. They also beat teams like Kentucky and Georgie Tech which was very good to see. Their freshman point guard isn't bad either. Collison is really playing well and is a very good defender and finisher. He knows how to be a floor leader and while he isn't as good as Farmar he still has alot of potential. UCLA definetly deserves to be a top 10 team. Don't count them out!
