Recently there has been lots of speculation over both these two leaving and many people have commented on which one they would like to go, but i think these facts speak for themselves.

Keane was similar last year, with almost all his 16 goals coming after christmas, but defoe had an anonymous season, leaving more responsibility on mido (who incidentally scored a lot more in the first half of the season than in the last) but this year we have had berbatov scoring and providing consistently, meaning keane and defoe have had to support him, and both have done it well in different parts of the season. for this reason i think it is ridiculous to get rid of either beacause they are both great goalscorers and have the knack of coming into form when the other is dropping off!
