Why our 3rd unit looked better than the starting 5

Two reasons (you can add more):
1. They actually move the ball, not either Dame or CJ go 1-on-5
2. Dame doesn't play defense. We play 4 on 5 on defense whenever he's on the floor

 

We're near the bottom of the league in Asissts. Where is our famous "ball movement"? And Dame's defense is unacceptable, we not getting anywhere like this with him

 

Assists is just not a Stotts thing. His offense is more player movement and not so much ball movement. The weave at the top of the key that touches multiple players hands but never moves the ball more than about 3' doesn't strike me as doing anything other than getting Dame/CJ 1-on-whatever opportunities.

 

Is this seriously a thread? Were talking about garbage time in an already decided game.

 

And also, Dame.is statistically having his 2nd best defensive season. He's been nearly average. He has 1 bad defensive game and people run with it.

 

Playing hard to make a positive impression helps.

 

Would appreciate it if the starting lineup played hard

 

His 1 bad defensive game was the T-Wolves game or the Lakers game? Cause I've been watching him on defense these two games and I play better defense than him

 

And Thomas Robinson plays better defense than you.

This team is weak and the fan base is weak. Real fans would at least notice Dame is playing one side of the ball, his defense is Meyers level. You realise you don't win anything playing 4 on 5 on defense? but you have no real argument so youre giving me Thomas Robinson, another player you don't like because youre wussies, so I'll tell it like it is: This team is weak because this city is weak
