The panthers are gonna go to the superbowl next year. And here are the reasons.

    1. Depth-with all the injures last year every player on the roster got valuable experience. We know the Nick Goings is good and a lot of players like Moorhead, and branch showed they could play.

    2. Motavation- Mills death will give inspriration like when he was going through kemo during the 2003 season. Also Mark Fields will prove motavation to do great things.

    3. Look at our players

QB- Jake Delhomme- he was 7th in passing yards last year with 70% of his offense gone. He had a crappy line and only one great reciever.

HBs- Davis had 1444 yards in 2003 and really wants to come back. Foster showed that he can be great if he stays heathly by running 174 yards against KC. Goings had 821 yards with 8 starts. Shelton, a 2nd round pick, is a beast. He is like a younger stephen davis

FB- Hoover is a dominat blocker that can catch good

WRs-People dont give this position enough credit. Smith caught 88 balls in 2003, but broke his leg in 2004. He catches a 5 yard pass and turns it into a 40 yard run. Keary Colbert set a record with REC Yards for a panthers rookie. Ricky Proehl is always there when you need him. Drew Carter is super fast but had a season ending injury last year. Stubblefield is NCAA all time Receptions leader.

TE- Freddie Jones is a great pass catching TE. Magnum, Seidman and Gaines are all about blocking. The also have potentally one of the best goaline TEs, Julius Peppers, look for the panthers to use him more this year.

    Offensive line-
LT- Wharton- started last year he will be better next year
LG-Wahle-huge pickup for the panthers, pro bowl player next year
C-Mitchell-he has started for the past couple of years, leader of the line
    RG-Evan Mathis-rookie- has tremendous strength
RT-Gross-all pro his rookie year is moving back to RT where he dominated in 2003

    Defense

Secondary:Gamble and Lucas combined 12 INTS last year. Ricky Manning had 3 ints against McNabb during the 2003 NFC title game. The Safety position is packed. Minter is a great veteran, with lots of leadership. Thomas Davis will play 1st and 2nd down at Safety and then move to linebacker on 3rd down. Bashir and Mcree both saw time starting for other teams last year, and Branch started at FS last year for the panthers.

Linebackers-Dan Morgan started at the Pro Bowl. Will Witherspoon is a coverage guy and led the panthers with tackles. Thomas Davis will play 3rd down here, and is super fast for a LB. Brandon Short has started games in 2003 for Giants, and played a lot last year.

D-Line-Best in the league. All-Pro Julius Peppers, the most athletic Defensive player in the league. Former all-pro Jenkins, when healthy always gets double teams, Buckner should be good next year. Mike Rucker when Jenkins is in the game he had like 14 sacks in 2003

I think they have a good shot... Eagles, Falcons, Vikings, Panthers, Seahawks...maybe the Cowboys and Packers.

The whole NFC is up in the air this year.

I like them to be a playoff team..but Philly is still the favorite in my mind...McNabb is way better than the last time you guys saw them in the playoffs and your defense is good but I think you LB's besides morgan are weak...and Morgan needs to be healthy as well..though your safties aren't bad I don't think they are more than avg...but regardless the NFC will be up for grabs with Philly being thing close to a lock IMO.

Philly is not even going to make the playoffs. I know coming from a Giants fan it typical. TO, problem 1. Lito Sheppard and Brown had an interesting season. They had ups and downs. It seemed they got burned one second and responded in another point of the game. They are inconsistent. They have health issues with quite a few players. TO if he comes back lloked good at teh SB but what if he went down week 3 it couldve been a whole different season. McDougle isntr living up to teh hype. Jevon Kearse is injury prone although he was healthy last year doesnt mean shit. Thats 1 year. Theres more I just dont feel like going over it now Ill finisgh part 2 later.

Without TO they Eagles wont repeat, replacing TO is Todd Pinkston, who is like the opposite of TO.

Didn't every team that played the Chiefs last year rush for at least that many yards. I think we will show improvement this year. I was just pointing out that maybe that was not your strongest arguement there.

Well you guys held Tomlinson to 46 yards avg 2.2, dillion to 96 avg 3.8, James to 34 avg 3.4, domanick davis to 12 yards avg 1.2, Jamal Lewis to 73 avg 4.9

Foster had 174 avg 5.4, he had more yards and higher avg than those elite backs

Stop[ being a Giants fan and look at reality. Before TO came they still made the playoffs. How many years straight have u said tht they wont make. I hate defending the Eagles but they will make it to the playoffs because somehow McNabb pulls wins out of his ass. Whether its the wild card or the division theyll make it. I think the Giants will make the playoffs but of course im a Giants fan.
