This signing looks to be an indication that one of the others is on the way out. With all the speculation of Banks being shopped, I'll guess that if anybody's gone -- it's him. Hopefully in a deal that frees us from Blount's contract.
Interesting signing, because of the depth the C's already have at PG. They will probably have to wait before they can find a suitor for Marcus Banks. There are still a lot of free agent PGs in the market. The Celtics might stash Bynum in the NBDL until they clear out the logjam.
What a glorious day. Does this mean the end of Marcus Banks? A totally unspectacular point guard. I sure do hope so. I would love to see what kind of dimension Bynum could add to the bench.
