Think about it? Dan Marino was one hell of a QB but he never got one but he came close many times as has Payton Manning over the last few years. My question is will Payton follow the same Road that Dan did or will Payton finally win that it someday? I sure as hell hope so because even though I'm not a big fan of the team I think that guy deserves atleast 1 before he retires.Edit:I didnt realize NFL had it's own section so if it's all the same to you just ignore this one and I'll repost this one over on that board in a few minutes.
Peyton Manning will never win a SB...For one he will be in Indy for the rest of his career. 2-If the colts dont sign Edge back then thats the dumbest thing ever...(i dont think they're signing him back either....because they locked up reggie wayne for 7 yrs and a huge contract!)Peyton will never win a SB....For 4 reasons....1. He will be in indy for his whole career!2.The Organization doesnt like to spend money except for on peyton and WR's.3.They're not going 2 sign Edge James back because of the huge contract Reggie Wayne got4.He isnt clutch...He chokes when the games on the line.
He needs a solid Running Back, and a better defense. Two things very hard to come buy. However, if one payer could attract both those thigns, its Peyton. I see him maybe winning one
I think so, even though not really looking forward to that day. people compare him to marino, but he reminds me a lot more of Unitas, Marino was a terrible coverage reader in his time and decently accurate, along with never having a running game is a lot of the reason he never won a superbowl but was the TD leader each season.
BUMP. Sorry, but we need to talk about this some more, and I didnt want to make the same topic. Will Peyton ever win a Super Bowl? Well, it depends on whether he steps up the the challenge, and plays like the QB that he is in big game situations. It will be tougher this year without Edge, but they still have a good rushing crew in Rhodes and Addai. Maybe when Addai matures, and if their LB crew improves, they will have a 14-2 season, and maybe he will finally win one, or atleast make it there. We'll see.
I don't think so. In most cases players are unlucky and don't have the team to do it with but in this case, Manning is just a choker in the playoffs...he won't win one.
It was indy's chance before, now they are probably going to go through a slum. So if he doesn't win one this year he'll probably never win one
I'm not going to say he never chokes, but it wasn't his fault that they didn't go further in the playoffs last year. It was solely Vanderjagt's fault.
