I've asked repeatedly what was the driving force between Jackson and Bryant that makes it so they can't work with each other? I only heard that Bryant said he didn't like Phil as a person (but not why or more on the conversation). What happened and how long have they been having problems (was it prior to this season)?
Well shaq always talked to kobe about him shooting to much and always said how they had to run the offense through shaq to be successful and kobe has alot of pride and he didnt like this stuff being said to him by his coach.
phil runs the triangle offense and that implies running the offense through Shaq. that obviously doesnt sit well with Bryant.
There was a big bunch of stuffs that didn't go Bryants way this season and Shaq feat. Phill kind of basketball offense was one of them..
