Marvin Williams, Josh Smith are going to get huge contracts and Joe Johnson already has a big contract. All 3 pretty much provide the same thing, its a lot of money to invest in wings. Can Atlanta carry these guys or will they eventually have to choose and package at least one?
Joe Johnson contract isn't as bad as people make it out to be. I think they will keep both, but Childress might have to go, and he's very vaulable to this team. If Garbage Speedy retired things would be alot easier.
Even though he has been more productive than Marvin Williams so far, I get the feeling that Hawks fans would rather hold on to Marvin. Is that correct? What could they get for Josh Smith if they decided to trade him for somebody at another position?
Marvin sucks! Josh Smith sucks! Horford sucks! trade all of them for players who KNOW how to play! how 'bout all three of them for Dunleavy?
I didn't meant to imply they are bad players. It's just that the Hawks have other needs. A legit point guard for one.
What the Hawks need is a big man, that would come in and do dirty work, sorta a Mutumbo or Mourning type player.
