Will the Nuggets have a harder time winning against the top dawgs in the West b/c of their lack of size? Will the Nuggets lose consistently to the other teams in the West who have big men? How will the Nuggets overcome their lack of size?

There is no question that the Nuggets can score. They have a good half-court game and a formidable fast break. The Nuggets have good leadership in Miller; a player who can dish and score with any of the top point guards. Their defense is not too bad either. Can you see the Nuggets suprising some of the Western powers despite not having a big man inside?

    LOL, I love this guy.

    Great sarcasm.

This is a thread to give some pub to Nene, Camby, and Anderson. These guys have been animals under the basket.

I'll give someone a job, someone get me the stats of all 3 of those players, but add them up and give me one set of numbers.

Like together they all bring ** points, ** rebounds, and ** blocks per contest.

Lets see what these big guys are doing for the Nuggets.

I hate Math but here ya go:

    Nene + Camby + Andersen
    PPG: 12.1 + 5.2 + 4.2= 21.5
    RPG: 7.50 + 9.40 + 4.0= 20.9
    BPG: .60 + 2.50 + 2.63= 5.73

One thing I can say. Nene's bpg should increase. I mean, .60 is very few. Camby's production is ok considering that we couldn't expect so much from someone like him.

They can bang it up with the West's average big men. Not the Shaq-led LA team of course.

Don't forget Francisco Elson who is averaging 5 points, 5 rebounds a game in just under 20 minutes.

I think Elson could very easily be the center of the future for the Nugs. He reminds me for some reason of Jason Collins, but a tougher guy down low. He and Nene could be quite a tandem in a few years. Also, when Camby gets hurt(he always does, so its a question of when) both Elson and Anderson will get some monster minutes.

Elson needs a little more time, he's still adjusting to NBA type of play. He has a couple of years in Europe under his belt, and this guy can flat out play.
Camby will break down sooner or later, and Elson will be ready to rule in the paint, together with Nene ofcourse.
