    Will we have any All stars on the team this year? I am almost 100% positive Jamison will be one, I think Arenas should be one but with all the guards in teh east (Wade, Bron, Franchiese, Kidd..) I thnk he might get the short end of the stick...that is all I see having a chance unless someone explodes and averages like 23 a game along with other stats....opinions?

    Yea, well....maybe Kidd will get traded west. When was the last time we had two all-stars. When was the last time we had 1 that wasn't named MJ? It's probably more of a possibility that if Kwame got his ish 2gether that he could make the journey wih Antawn. Gil prolly would deserve it more than the last guard they select though. [IMG]

    With K-Mart, Boozer, & Odom all in the west now that will open up that forward spot they were fighting for last year and probably would have been fighting again for this year. But Rasheed might take that but if he doesnt, I can see it going to Jamison,if a forward on a better team doesnt present himself. The guard slot for Arenas is pretty far fetched imo even if Jason Kidd leaves conference & goes west(which I doubt). The east only usually takes 1 or 2 natural point guards & then put a bunch of wing players. So Francis will make the squad more than likely thru fan vote & the other pg would probably Steph Marbury(if kidd's gone). The NBA likes to have a player from a tri-state team as an all-star.

    Jamison will get one, and Arenas should, but likely won't, Iverson and Lebron, or Iverson and Francis will be the gurads voted in, and on the bench their's 2 guard sports, and 2 any player spots.
    The 2 guard spots will go to Kidd and Redd, Marbury, Wade or one out of Lebron and Francis.
    The other spots will likely not go to a guard, so Arenas might deserve it but their will be people just as good that deserve it too.

    Jamison will make his first appearance(took longer than should have) IMO, but I think the PG crop is too good for Arnas to be in it.

    Antawn Jamison will most likely make the allstar squad.. I hope he does and Arenas deserves too as well, Bron, Wade, Iverson and Arenas should be the gaurds from the east.. I dont like steve francis too much.. Jamison should've made every allstar team from his 3rd season to the season before the one he was in Dallas, he had amazing stats..

    Jamison = F in West.

    Forwards in West = KG, Duncan, Webber, Peja, Dirk, Marion, Elton Brand

    I'm really pining for Arenas to get the all-star nod but most likely we will see Jamison. If Gilbert can stay healthy this season he is very capable of putting up all star numbers.

    Remember, the most important factor in getting to be an all-star when you put up "all-star numbers" is how good the record of the team is. So if we are in 1st place, we can easily have 2 all stars

    Yea, I know, when selecting the bench guys, the coaches look at team records, they don't pick too many players from teams far under the top half of the conference, those guys from teams like that get voted in by the fans or must have mad numbers.

    The only thing is unless 2 out of the Bucks, Nets, Knicks, and either Cavs or Magic have a bad record, Arenas won't likely make it over Redd, Kidd, Marbury, and LJ or Francis.
