On Wednesday the ESPYs are on & as many of you already know Bruce Jenner will be recieving the Arther Ashe award for courage. Arther Ashe contracted HIV through a blood transfusion died in 1993.

Evangelist Franklin Graham hit the nail on the head when he had this to say.....

"It's hard to accept when you read about our wounded veterans, some of which have gone through 30-40 surgeries, not to change there gender but to try & put there broken bodies back together after defending our country. And to recognize the very confused Caitlyn Jenner as a hero before the entire world is in comparison a disgrace".

Some of the more recent recipients include, Pat Tillman. Nelson Mandela, Jim Valvano & the 4 men who stormed the cockpit of United airlines flight 93 on 9/11 to prevent it from reaching its target. There is NOTHING in Jenner's personal decision that involves heroism.

IMO if ESPN wants to honor courage this year, Lauren Hill the 17 year old college basketball player who battled a brain tumor before dying. Or there own sports commentator Shelley Smith who appears on the telecasts completely bald while battling her own cancer.

I will not be watching this show as I think its a complete disgrace that ESPN has completely lost its definition of what true heroism really means.

No - and I'm sick and tired of this political social climate which has been created where you must/"should" welcome with open arms and pat on the back those who choose to make personal NON life and death decisions for personal "feel good" reasons otherwise you're villified or painted with a broad brush and "certified" as some kind of ugly person, racist, intolerant bigot just because you may choose to say- "in my opinion, I think it's abberant behavior and contradictory with the natural laws of nature"....or......"what's the big issue?... , I really don't give a sh!t" and/or...."and I happen to think it's much ado about nothing".

This climate of EVERYONE FEEL GOOD AND AGREE WITH EVERYTHING is largely the result of simply not having enough high profile politicians who disagree but are more concerned with getting re-elected and are afraid to go back to their well-off civilian lives, the phoney independently wealthy who feel the need to be "liked" and welcomed in Hollywood by those who they really don't care for but choose to be a member of the herd.......and of course the average person who just is afraid of being portrayed as some kind of bigot.

A couple of more "Donald Trumps" will go a long way in raising the "uncomfortable" non politically correct thoughts and ideas which MILLIONS and MILLIONS of Americans agree with and WANT it to be heard by the left wingers who are now brazenly offering socialism and anything goes social "norms", politics and National policy while simultaneously succeeding in squelching fair and open debate and discussion on the national stage.

The only times I'll watch ESPN are when the Yankees are on and Monday Night Football. Otherwise there's nothing of interest.

Well stated by Frank Graham........this is getting just plain sick, to award or reward, a fairy in drag, cuz she/he was very fkd up and confused.

In other words, you hang out with nothing but women, with bottle asses, who play let the paparazzi chase you, when theirs nothing they do that's newsworthy at all.........(and none of 'em are newsworthy at all, outside of bullshit "Reality TV junkies" ); hell even China and Russia may be "Keeping Up With The Kardashians.

Those bitches who are NOT his real kids, then I guess Bruceifer just got drawn into playing with Barbies, and playing with make up, trying out dresses, or racing in Stilletos.....All this is NOT courage or brave.........

"Courage is being scared to death, and saddling up anyway" - John Wayne. (knowing you may not stand a chance)

Since when does growing your hair long, putting on make up, getting into a dress & taping your dick up equal courage?

I add sports center when I need to, watch the O's and I do enjoy 30 for 30. College sports are my number one interest.
The reason the producers featured Ms.Jenner is to draw an audience, sponsers and a market share
    . That is all.

+>Wait Matt. Encourage her to watch it,express your disdain so you can go to the sports bar, chug cold ones and watch NFL channel.

+ Courage is when you face death with your bros help others survive and honor the men who died to keep you alive. The espies should not feature any social disphoria but honor our bros who have died for this country. Think Pat Tillman...friendly fire victim!!!!!
