Michigan senior defensive tackle William Campbell pleaded guilty Thursday to a misdemeanor charge of malicious destruction of property. Campbell admitted to sliding across the hood of a 2003 Lincoln Town Car on the 600 block of Church Street in Ann Arbor early in the morning on April 7. He initially was charged with both felony and misdemeanor malicious destruction of property, but the felony charge was dropped as part of the plea deal.
