Word is that Chicago has offered the Nuggets Jay Williams and the seventh pick for the third pick, according to the Denver Post. I dont think the nuggets should do it.
i would do it. 1st off you get a good young pg in jay, then u can draft lampe at #7(the next nowitzki), so u get jay williams and the next nowitzki, instead of just getting carmello.
i agree with raptors. the bulls lose a pg, but they already got crawford to play pg, there only weakness was sg/sf and they get to draft carmello. there starting lineup would be pg-crawford sg-jalen sf-carmello(can switch carmello and jalen) pf-chandler c-curry now that is a young team filled with potential(excluding jalen)
plus look at denver pg williams sg wade sf white pf skeet(has bulked up i heard and still is) c nene that line up will be crazy!!!!
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "Alley-oop":</div><div class="quote_post">If the Nuggets do this trade they are gonna draft Pietres(SP?) not Wade or Lampe.</div> yeah i think they will draft pietres, too, and have their backcourt set. and they still have cap space to get a solid free agent, like kandi man.
This would be a good trade for the bulls...paxon doesn't like jay..he loves crawford..so i expected jay to get traded...
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting "allnet":</div><div class="quote_post">BTW is there a link to this?</div> it was in an old article at chicagosports.com (that's where i last saw it). i'm not sure about this. carmello is probably gonna want to be a star in the league, and it'll be hard with jalen, eddy, tyson, and jamal. i dont think Jay is looking to be a star- just a good point guard.
I think it could work out as a good trade... but picking carmelo might be less risky for the Nuggets...
The nuggets are sooooooooo stupid... after gettin all those young players last year and havin a chance to draft Melo and now all the sudden they dont want him... how stupid
