Willie Bloomquist will miss the rest of the season for the Seattle Mariners after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee. Bloomquist underwent the surgery on Friday morning. Manager Lloyd McClendon said Bloomquist will be on crutches for the next six to eight weeks, but should be available for spring training.
