<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"Willie Randolph couldn't know for sure whether GM Omar Minaya had really come to Coors Field to support him, but the embattled manager had as much fun as he could with the topic once it again arose before yesterday's Mets-Rockies game. "I thought I saw him in the back sharpening his machete," Randolph joked. "So I don't know if that makes me feel too good. He saw me coming and kind of slipped it in his back pocket." Randolph's players then helped potentially stay an execution with a 9-2 win over the Rockies that snapped the Mets' five-game losing streak. "Omar still has the machete, though," Randolph kidded afterward. "</div>

A nice win yesterday, but I wouldn't expect much today, they have had trouble at Coors the past few years.
