Hey guys, I'm going to buy a laptop for college pretty soon and I was wondering if you guys think I should wait until January 30th or later and buy a laptop with windows vista- or should I just stick to xp? The answer may seem obvious, but I wnat to hear some opinions. Also, what are some laptops you guys find good (as in price, quailty of the laptop, etc.)heres a screenshot: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Windows_Vista_Desktop.png
Vista is the sh*t dude, I totally want that an will probably get a Vista my self with my money when I start working thought....
Wait - and it's not only about the vista. The more you wait, the more you can get higher, and newer technology for cheaper. Although, if you get it around christmas time, you might be able to find a really good laptop for a cheap price. If I were you I would wait for vista...
I say wait also. There could be some glitches or flaws to the program, and you should stick around for them to fix em.

And people would have to take their comps back beacause of that.

When did the beta version come out? If it was before the summer then it was Microsoft's idea. I remember seeing some "concept art" of vista that didn't have that start button.:dribble:
