Wingers are a very delicate player. just look at shaun wright phillips, vincente, robben, ronaldo, and even lahm and evra. wingers go down at the drop of a hat. its also a shame wingers are sum of the most exciting players to watch.
They're delicate because they're the quickest and the ones with the most skill so they use it to their advantage by trying to get past a player and then if they don't, they'll fall and get the free kick. Because of this, it's made wingers be less prone to being tackled heavily, instead they'll just be watched, tagged, marked until the ball is away from their feet.
Also running at that pace you wouldnt have alot of balance so if you get touched a good bit you would tumble to the ground.
<div class="quote_poster">Hutcho Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I don't have a major problem with the delicasy of wingers.</div> You would say that with Robben in your team. He falls over in a slight breeze. It can't really be said Ronaldo's delicate because he's over six foot but goes down quicker than Graham Norton. Giggs doesn't really go over a lot(but did for the last minute goal at Anfield the cheating Mr Spock lookalike).
That is a major trend in foreign big name players but would you rather them not in the premiership? I certainly wouldn't.
Yeah I agree the talent some of them have got is good for the game and great to watch but some of them are soft as shite and bring the game into disrepute.
