Thaworn Wiratchant didn't hit a shot Sunday, but still managed to earn a victory at the inaugural Yeangder Tournament Players Championship.

The final round was canceled as Typhoon Fanapi was bearing down on Taipei.

"The threat of Typhoon Fanapi today was a very serious one and it would be very dangerous if we allowed play to continue. We had no choice but to cancel the final round and reduce the tournament to 54 holes," said tournament director Wanchai Meechai.

Wiratchant carded a two-under 70 at Linkou International Golf Club on Saturday to take the third-round lead at 10-under-par 206. He was awarded the his 12th Asian Tour title when the final round was called off.
