Did any of you realize anything different about a person/place that you hadn't before? A few things: -Orlando is smaller than Portland and was very underwhelming. -Brookings, Oregon is strange but has potential. Location, lacation! It's in the "banana belt" and has, apparently, the best climate in the state. -Bend, Oregon is like a mini-Pearl district. -Newport Beach, CA is awesome. -Paul Allen is a scary micro-manager. -Hiphop is dead.
I learned I may need a new liver. That is what I get for being healthy and running marathons. I blame it on Bush.
I've learned our government is on a nonstop path to insolvency, and there's not a thing that will be done about it. I learned Eastside Deli may be the best in Portland. I've discovered what barfoisms are and will use them whenever I'm getting killed in a debate. I've learned that I want to get out of megaopolis and move to the central Oregon coast- but my wife won't let us.
I learned that not having a "summer vacation" sucks ass. This was my first time ever where I have worked and taken classes throughout the year.
I learned that the rest of the country doesn't hold a fucking candle to Portland Oregon. I learned to never drive through the American Southwest. I learned that debating politics on message boards is the highest form of political action I ever want to achieve and I am 100% okay with that. I learned that hip hop is very much alive.
Can't argue with you there! All that MTV/Radio crap is not real hip hop though. Unfortunately, that's what people think is real.
Real hip hop heads might dig this latest track by some very good friends of mine. The Lifesavas have been around for a long time and there latest single is off the hook. Give it a listen! http://endhits.portlandmercury.com/endhits/archives/2011/03/01/lifesavas-and-the-soul-goes-on
yes real hip hop is BARLEY alive i love real hip hop but sadly all this mainstream zombies care about is drake or lil wayne or pitbul none of those guys is real hip hop none and FAKE hip hop never lived so it cant be dead even if its alive and people like it thats only because they have never been exposed to REAL hip hop hip hop lives…
