"Chris Gronkowski, the only fullback on the roster, is holding out hope he can play Sunday. But if he can't, it likely will mean more work for tight end Jason Witten. Witten can and has played the fullback position. "Obviously, there's always pros and cons to it," Witten said Friday. "It's a tough job. You like those guys that are like Chris that have the ideal look, with the thick neck and stuff. We've done it some, and there are some plays we like to do [with him at fullback]. You've got to be able to improvise and be able to adapt to those things. "We'll see how he does. Hopefully he feels better, but if he doesn't we'll fill in.""
