Not at all. That's real optmistic thinking. I see you guys most likely making it to the second round and losing as usual. Wiz still aren't even close to the level of the Pistons, Bulls, Heat, and probably not even the Nets either yet. You're simply a 4rth-6th seed type team that will find themselves gettin wiped out in the second round. No frontcourt = :no1:

Not a chance. The Nets, Cavs, Heat, Pistons, and Bulls, are all clearly better than the Wizards. Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison would have to combine for 65 ppg for that to happen.

I don't think it's going to happen either, as every coach in the league right now is probably telling their players the exact same thing. If they are not telling their team that they can make it to their conference finals and farther, then that coach should be fired for not pumping up his team at all. Every team needs to atleast think they are good enough to win their conference finals.

I'm agreeing with you about the heat, but about the pistons? that's why we had a 3-0 record against them when they had ben wallace. Not to mention the bulls? We had a bad record against them this year but with a superstar like gilbert you can't count out a second round upset....

That 3-0 record was during the regular season. Everything changes in the playoffs. The Pistons would tear you guys apart in a 7 game series. I know you have Gilbert, but he's not nearly enough, like I said, your big men still are horrible.

Where are phx's big men? They made it to the conference finals. Besides what proof do you have that they wuold kill us. Everything doesn't change in the playoffs, they still try during the year...they want to get into the playoffs...they're not just gonna give us a game. Besides just Gilbert, what about Antawn, and Caron?

Yeah, but that's Phoenix and you guys simply aren't Phoenix. They have their own system. Stick Brendan Haywood and Etan Thomas in the place of Shawn Marion and Boris Diaw and see what happens. [IMG]

I think you should lay off the Kool-Aid garenas if you expect ECF from the Wiz this year. I know their your team but you have to be reasonable. There a longshot at best.

The Wizards are the 6th best team in the East and will get beaten by any team they face in the first round. Anything can happen in the playoffs but I wouldn't bet on them winning...more than 2 games.

I love how everyone have all of these assumptions about what team is going to do this or that and no one has even bounced a ball, yet. Why don't everyone wait until the season starts? Teams that make it to the CF or become champions have to make it the first time. I guarantee they were sports analyst and everyone else saying they wouldn't make it. Just like they do every year before a game is even played, talking about this team is an underdog, this team is a long shot, this team is going to win it etc, etc. Look at the LA Clippers who were considered an underdog last season and made it to the second round of the playoffs. The Miami Heat who became champion when the Pistons were favored to take it all. Al I'm saying is this is the NBA, folks. Anything can happen in it..
