The Washington Wizards hired former NBA player and coach Jerry Sichting as an assistant coach on Thursday. The 55-year-old Sichting played 10 seasons for five teams in the NBA and worked as an assistant coach for Minnesota and Golden State. With the Timberwolves for 11 seasons, Sichting worked under Wizards head coach Randy Wittman for two seasons when Wittman held the same role in Minnesota.
