<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">MIAMI -- Washington Wizards power forward Kwame Brown has talked with team officials about returning to the team and has been working out at MCI Center in the unlikely event his suspension is rescinded, according to sources with knowledge of the situation. Brown has called more than one team official about his suspension for the remainder of the playoffs, which began May 3. Brown has been contrite and broached the possibility of a return, according to more than one of the sources. However, team officials have said they do not intend to lift the suspension, which Brown received after missing two practices and a pregame shoot-around last week. Right now, no,coach Eddie Jordan said after last night's game. It looks like Etan [Thomas] could be lost for the series, but right now we're playing with what we got.</div> Source With Etan Thomas injured, the Wizards could use another body inside to try and bang with Shaq. How should the Wizards handle this? Give him a second chance to prove himself, I mean the 10th chance to prove himself? Both Gilbert Arenas and Antawn Jamison have expressed giving him a second chance. Not only is Etan out, but Jamison is playing with a sore knee, and Peter Ramos is not on the playoff roster. This leaves Haywood, Ruffin, and Jeffries on the frontline against Shaq, Haslem, and Zo.
if If I was given the decision to let him back or not I would bring him back because of the need for him. I believe in the saying "everyone should be treaty fairly but not the same". It would be fair to suspend him for a few games but because the team needs him it is fair to the the team to bring him back.
I wouldn't bring him back. It would be like backing down on your principles. There is a reason why they suspended him in the first place and to bring him back only because they need him just sounds wrong. I would want the Wizards to stick with their guns and really put forth the notion that Kwame Browns actions will not be tolerated no matter what the situation.
if the wizards allow kwame brown to play after all the crap he's pulled, it will prove that even though they've had a nice breakthrough year, they are still a backwater organization. if they cannot win with the guys who actually CARE about the team, the game, and winning, they shouldn't go begging for help from losers. they should let kwame rot at home and not look back. they will be better for it.
I`d bring him back. Even though he missed those 2 precious practices and the helpful shootaround, I think Brown has learned his lesson and bringing him back would be very helpful against the Heat. We all know he hasn`t been that productive but its always nice to have that little talented force under your belt, especially at this time in the playoffs.
Why bring him back? its not like they have a chance to win the series anyway. After what he's done it would send a bad message to him and all the other players in the NBA that whine about playing time
