Jarvis Hayes won't start over Jamison.

    PG - Arenas/ Blake/ Dixon
    SG - Hughes/ Hayes/ Dixon
    SF - Jamison/ Hayes/ Jefferies
    PF - Kwame/ Jefferies/ Maybe and FA
    C - Haywood/ Maybe Etan/ Peter John Ramos

Their was talk about Jamison playing PF, but he's an even worse defender at the 4 that at the 3.
This team will struggle on defense in the 1-3 spots, all those guys a lackadasical defenders.
Arenas can be a good defender, but he isn't, Hughes is too small and not super quick and isn't a good defneder, but he tries, Jamison isn't quick enough to guards other SF's, and doesn't have the length to step back on his defender in order to prevent the drive and still be able to contest shots.

How they play defense this year will be the measure of how good they do, anyone except the Raptors can score, but not everyone can play defense.Another determining factor for the team will be how Arenas protects the ball, he can't turnove the ball like he did last year.

Team work, chemistry, ball control and defense are the big things, if we can do that our only rivals in our division will be Miami like it should be, and Orlando could make a push too.
Run the bal through Kwame, no more Princeton offense.

hey guys--im new to this site. heres my startin line up for the wizards as of now

    pg- gilbert arenas/steve blake/juan dixon
sg- larry hughes/juan dixon(i love his defence n quickness)/jarvis hayes
    sf- antwan jamison/jarvis hayes/jarred jeffreis
    pf- kwame brown/etan thomas/jarred jeffries
    c- brennan haywood/peter john ramos/etan thomas

that is a pretty solid team IF kwame steps up. we know that arenas and jamison will give us 20 a night easy and hughes is usuall solid for 15-20. and haywood-we dont expect much from him only blocks. but we need a low post scorer...which is why kwame needs to step it up--he started to last yr.-but this is his yr to prove to people that he wasnt a bust

im still hoping we make another move for a center perhaps. i love theo ratliff. give haywood and dixon and or jeffries. theo wuld add much needed defence to an already great offence. any body thinka trade for theo culd happened?

Ahh we got teh SF we needed...I pretty much agree with everyones lineup...but Jarvis is def. not better than Jamison...he struggles at the 3...
