yep. Looks like the Bulls will add SG depth by tomorrow afternoon. Personally I think Lee is the best fit of any of the SG mentioned other than Rip. Looks like Rip wont get bought out unless something breaks today. Mayo has the most potential, but Lee can score, defend, and handle the rock. Thornton has been traded. And Parker is marginally better than Bogans. Dont get me wrong, adding AP would not hurt us at all, but I would rather have Lee. He has been to the playoffs with Orlando and was their starting guard if my memory serves me right.
Melo to the Knicks and Deron to the Nets does nothing to this season's playoff push for Chicago...so I don't think we have to bust a nut for Lee, Mayo or Parker...they will provide an incremental upgrade but won't be the determining factor of our season. A guy like Jason Richardson will be around the MLE mark in the offseason
Right FJ. Dont need to sell the farm. We are good already just need tweaking for the playoffs. We can always address the SG once and for all this summer. We dont have to do anything. Position of power.
Well, if Lee got hurt and there was a deal on the table, that deal would be scuttled. That's my thinking, anyhow.
DW posted this elsewhere: http://basketball.realgm.com/wiretap/211362/Rockets_Offering_Battier_For_Thabeet Thabeet and a 1st for Battier. Rumor. Asik and a 1st might get him, if he's really a player we want.
Would add a decent outside shooter who can play great defense. A little on the older side of the aging scale, but I don't think his defense or his shooting has really dropped off. I haven't seen too many Bulls games, tbh, so I don't know how Thibs does his depth chart at the SG/SF positions.
