The KFAN Radio Station reported that the Minnesota Timberwolves have signed formed Timberwolf Tom Gugliotta to the Veterans minimun one year deal.

Gugliotta, who played for the Timberwolves for 4 seasons before going to Phoenix has averaged 13.5 Points Per Game and 7.5 Rebounds Per Game in his 12 year career.

interesting...i know hes had an injury-plagued last few seasons but if hes healthy he could really be a nice contributor off the bench...hes a nice shooter and rebounder and should fit in well with the Wolves' second unit....

Good to see a veteran getting a decent contract. He should be good for the Timberwolves off the bench, a decent backup for a big man. This was unexpected though, nobody wouldve thought the Wolves would sign him.

I think if Googs stays somewhat healthy, then I think its a very solid signing. Its unrealistic to expect Googs to stay healthy all season playing 82 games, but if he plays 65+ games and then the playoffs, that would be great for someone with Googs history of injuries. He will provide a little bit of scoring around the basket and stretch it out to the mid-range area. He will fit in with the Cassell-bigman pick & roll. And he knows Flip's system, so I cant see anything wrong with this signing, except they dont say the terms of the deal. But Iam pretty sure it isnt anymore than a 1 or 2 year(at the most) deal.
