There's also arteries and things of that nature, which could make you bleed to death if you get hit there. But it's possible to live even if something penetrates your skull. People have gotten rods through their heads and lived. This isn't as amazing as it seems.

I'm beginning to realize that I can relate everything you guys say to my Psychology class, including the basketball topics (my teacher is a die-hard Clippers' fan and her husband is a Lakers' fan).</span>
