Where's the outrage about this? The school system in this country is so fucked up that they are forced to pay someone for not doing their job. And not just someone, but a person who made up the job and got it though political ties, and then was convicted of fraud for said job. Anyone else, in any other industry would have been fired and that would be that, instead this women gets $177,000! http://www.al.com/news/birminghamnews/statebriefs.ssf?/base/news/1235726132174750.xml&coll=2
Unbelievable. Ladies and gentlemen, this is what the combination of influential unions, cronyism and government misuse of funds gets you. Shameful.
It's just some hick county judge. He'll be overruled on appeal. She's been convicted of using her position to commit felonies, and any profits received from the comission of a crime are usually forfeited to the state. Since her job was actually a part of the fraud her salary would be ill-gotten gains.
