For a fighter that has only been boxing for five years, Curtis Woodhouse (15-3, 10 KO’s) has a heck of a lot of talent. I was really impressed with his performance against Frankie Gavin last Saturday night. I had Woodhouse winning that fight by a couple of rounds, but Gavin nicked it by a 12 round split decision by the scores of 117-112, 116-113 and 114-115. Woodhouse showed good power and excellent combinations. I frankly see him as a much better prospect than than Gavin. I think Gavin’s promoter needs to cut his losses and dump him. I just don’t see much more than a domestic level fighter in Gavin. He’s lacking in so many areas it’s not even funny. read more: http://www.boxingnews24.com/2011/07/woodhouse-looks-to-be-a-better-prospect-than-gavin/#more-73449
