Woodson is among the hottest coaching candidates in the NBA's assistant ranks and, according to sources, is strongly considering the offer, with a decision not expected until after the holiday weekend.

Hawks general manager Billy Knight acknowledged earlier in the week that he might be forced to extend a three- or four-year offer to a coach, signaling that Woodson is Atlanta's top candidate.</div>

Doesn't Atlanta finally get the point? Every year they bring in a low-profile coach, and eventually if they don't get a high-profile coach who is also a winning coach this francise will be sold. I'm suprised now to see them still around, I actually feel bad for Atlanta.
