Looked like a pretty crowded gym for his workout. Hadn't seen other vids to see if it was as crowded there.

Has Miller worked out for anyone?

So you think that the report that the general consensus among GMs was that Charlotte would take Miller is no longer true?

His workouts may be affected by his recovery from mono.

Givony and Jeremy Woo later provided more details (via ESPN):

“It’s unclear what type of workout Miller — who was recovering at home in Nashville, Tennessee, from mononucleosis while his peers were training for the pre-draft process — will be able to conduct on his visit to Charlotte. Miller has lost 13 pounds and hasn’t had much basketball activity since the season ended, his agent, Wilmer Jackson, confirmed to ESPN.”

It won’t be an easy path for Miller to dominate a workout while recovering from mononucleosis, which may result in profound fatigue.

I was wondering if maybe we wanted to convince Charlotte that we don’t like Miller so that they feel confident to move back to 4th and then Miller drops to us.

Akobundu-Ehiogu is a 6’9 Nigerian big man with a 7’4 wingspan whose name has yet to appear on any major publication’s draft board despite finishing his sophomore season ranked fifth amongst Division I players in block percentage.
In his last NCAA season, and his first with Memphis, Akobundu-Ehiogu averaged only 10.5 minutes per game. He averaged an impressive 1.6 blocks per game with those limited minutes though. However, he only racked up 2.6 points and 1.7 rebounds per game in those minutes.

Jerkel Joiner, small combo guard, probably go undrafted.

Obanor, late 2nd round to undrafted. Obanor, who is 6-foot-8 and 235 pounds, played both forward positions in college, but he projects to be more of a power forward in the NBA.

This guy not listed on Blazer workout list but says he will be working out for them. This profile projects him in first round but I think maybe second round.

These guys project him mid to late first so maybe I was wrong. But see he lacks lateral quickness and is turnover prone.... https://www.si.com/nba/draft/prospe...is#gid=ci02afc7a7000025c3&pid=usatsi_17571220

As expected, Scoot apparently showed out in workouts.

    Givony:

Scoot Henderson helped his standing in Charlotte with a highly impressive workout this past weekend in front of the Hornets' front office and coaching staff. He showed an impressive level of conditioning, intensity, explosiveness and shot-making that portend good things for him later. Still, many signs continue to point toward Miller being the pick at No. 2, both due to his clean roster fit as much as the front office's belief in his long-term talent. The Hornets have conducted due diligence in Tuscaloosa to help ease concerns around Miller's involvement in the Jan. 6 fatal shooting of Jamea Jonae Harris. The possibility of New Orleans (who are fans of Henderson) offering Brandon Ingram in a trade for the No. 2 pick could shake things up potentially on draft night, but it's still too early to say whether that is a realistic possibility.
