"To Hell with the WBC, boycott it". That's what I ponder every day tickets remain on sale; for the Final Championship Game, at Chavez Ravine...

Notice the Field Level Seats, Section 26, on the First Base side: both in the colors- light faded lilac, then again in orange....there has been some, but not much additional seating for the WBC Finals, as noted in both this Pic vs the next. The Lilac seats or "Prime Ticket Club Zone" aka "Baseline" seats, are added. In the 80's we had Season Tix in: Section 26, Field Level Seats aka "Infield Box Seats" in the orange section, directly across from/inline with First Base; 4 rows from the field; In 1986 dollars, these Season Tickets cost only 8$, the cheapest in all MLB, still in the O'Malley Family, with savings passed on to Fans. See charts below for year and price comparison's.....never a good thing, not anymore....the O'Malley generosity to Fans hath long gone...as noted below....

How many classification, catagories, and varying ticket price are there????
When the Dodgers put single-game tickets on sale on their website Friday, fans got 290 answers to that seemingly simple question. The Dodgers have divided the general seating area into 58 classifications, up from 31 last year, and divided home games into 5 categories based on projected popularity, up from 4 last year.

This is the normal seating chart during the season. The area's shaded in grey, are those added seats, ...

USA Roster, still in Preliminary review....

    http://www.cbssports.com/mlb/news/t...minary-usa-roster-for-world-baseball-classic/

The preliminary rosters are just that, preliminary. Players can be added or subtracted at any point. The rosters do not have to be finalized until January, so it's still possible for Trout and/or Harper to be added.

Dellin Betances and Noah Syndergaard were the only New York players on the preliminary list of 50, which also included Chris Archer, Nolan Arenado, Jake Arrieta, Kris Bryant, Eric Hosmer, Ian Kinsler, Corey Kluber, Jonathan Lucroy, Andrew Miller, Buster Posey, David Price, Max Scherzer, Giancarlo Stanton, Justin Verlander, and Christian Yelich. Players can still pull out and/or not make the final roster.

Chavez Ravine Dodger Tix Prices by year(s); noted below. I know, fuk the bums, so be it,....

It's nice to know Manfred is concerned, but can't do a damn thing about ticket prices, other than suggest to owners....

    Or-
In his first year as commissioner, Rob Manfred spoke fervently about how to sell baseball to the video-game generation. First, he said, get more kids playing baseball.

    Second?

"We need to make sure that what I think of as the generational aspect of our game continues," Manfred told The Times. "What I mean by that is that we want parents and grandparents to get their kids into the park at an early age, and instill in those young people the love of the game that our generation has."
