US are in Group G and will play Germany, Portugal, and Ghana.

Advancing from this group will be pretty tough, but I think they can do it.

It'll be fun to play Germany with all the German connections to the US team. Portugal won't overlook the US team this time, and Ghana knocked the US out of the last world cup.

Possible knock-out round opponent if the US team advances. Belgium, Algeria, Russia, South Korea

    Gonna be tough.

    EDIT: Thanks Speed!

Thinking about it, from a viewership point of view, all 3 of our group stage games will have a great storyline. Ghana = revenge. Portugal = the C. Ronaldo show (or how to stop the C. Ronaldo show). Germany = Klinsmann's vs the motherland.

I'd love to play Russia in the knock out round.

Brazil being drawn 1A was a little surprising.

I would say Group G is the group of death. The US will have a very difficult time of it.

Belgium might be the surprise team this year. They look great on paper.

I thought that was automatic so they could play in the opener?

I'm REALLY confused. According to the graphic, the US is in Group C?

Australia is going to end up with 0 points, 0 goals and a goal differential of at least -15.

I'm so conflicted because I love the German team. I'm hoping the US and Germany comes out of G.
