I still think Miami has a shot at pulling off the trifecta of Wade-LeBron-Bosh.

ya they have a shot, but I dont see James and Wade existing together. Both are alpha males and if they win a string of rings together, Wade will always have one more than 'Bron!

    Dont see it.

That doesn't make sense. If LeBron is willing to play in Jordan's shadow why would he care if Wade had one more ring than him? I also disagree about LeBron being an alpha dog he's more so the fun guy of the locker room, class clown type persona.

I cant see Lebron defer to Wade. Just cant see it.

Well Jordan isn't playing now. Wade is. Big difference.

I think both guys want to be the man when it's all said and done.

Also if he plays for the Bulls, Rose is much younger than Wade. He could in theory win more rings with Chicago.

Boy, Lebron is going to land somewhere with so much more talent than he had. This must be a scary scenerio for every other team.

    Wade/JJ/Boozer vs. Lebron/Bosh/Rose/Noah/Deng or

    Wade/Bosh/Lebron vs. Rose/JJ/Lee/Noah/Deng or

    Wade/Bosh/Gay vs. Rose/JJ/Lebron/Noah/Deng

He hardly seems far that Lebron and Bosh could go together to a team with real talent.

I think the Hinrich give away is a strong indication LeBron is coming to Chicago. Now it becomes a recruiting war for Bosh between Wade & LeBron. This is going to be a classic rivalry if all the chips fall in place. Chicago vs. Miami every season in the East. Wade vs. LeBron should be epic.

How would LeBron be playing in Jordan's shadow? Jordan has nothing to do with the Bulls now, unlike Magic with Lakers.

Best choice for the King is to go to the Bulls, bring Bosh or some other freeagent(s) (Amare, Dirk, R.Allen, etc) and become a dynasty there.

There's a statue of Jordan outside the arena. He'll always be compared to the Jordan standard playing especially playing in Chicago.

Yeah but Jordan has no ties with Chicago, he's done everything but stay close to Chicago. That's actually something I've always hated about Jordan, it's like he never cared about those championship runs or the city.

LOL. You have it backwards. Jordan wanted to own a piece of the franchise, but they didn't want to sell to him.

He didn't try enough, now did he? Plus he's an arrogant son of a bitch IMO.

The statue doesn't play basketball does it? :D

The spin on playing under michaels shadow is not a good argument imo. I have seen it used several times. Truth is Garnet came to Boston and played under the shadow of many Celtic greats!

Kobe is in La and he and shaq early on played under the shadow of many Laker greats.

I dont see Michaels shadow or statue as being a reason for any of the top FA's to not sign.

That was my point. If he doesn't care about the Jordan legacy why would he care about Wade?

Because with Wade he would be playing with him, and any rings he wins we're all going to say it's because of LeBron AND Wade, not just LeBron. He wants to be the main star, and so does Wade.

I'm sure you understand pretty well what I'm saying. You cannot have Kobe and LeBron on same team, or Kobe + Wade, or Wade + Carmelo, because it would be both players' team, not just one superstar. In LA it's Kobe's team, even when Shaq was there, Kobe was the star.

    capisse? lol

I disagree. Hell look at your own team KG-Pierce-Allen. Great players can easily co-exist on the court if their goal is to win a title. They functioned fine in the Olympics and besides LeBron likes to defer to others.

I think it's more likely that you have Rose/LBJ/Bosh/Noah vs. Wade/JJ/Amare (or, if MIA can't get quite to 50.1M in space, Lee or Boozer) That's a pick-em.

Shape, he's going to be compared to Michael regardless of where he plays.

Kobe doesn't get Superstar credit for winning with Shaq, nor should he. It is always special to win as a #1. Sometimes even that isn't enough, which is why carrying a team is also important in addition to winning as a #1.

The Heat have a poor shot at LeBron because he doesn't want to play with another ball hog. He can order Rose around much easier.
