I been watching the lions game and let me tell ya,once again roy williams dropped 2 potential td passes yesterday from joey. In detroit the reason mike mcmahon was never considerd the future was he has horrible accuracy, despite his great feet.

The last 3 games ive seen stephen alexander drop 2 td passes and roy williams has dropped 5 tds in 3 games. Every one of these passes hit the wr's in the hands.

Its no secret the last 2 years the detroit lions have led the nfl in dropped passes. In the nfl you ask for your qb to hit the wrs in the numbers. The qb cannot control if his players arent catching the ball.

1 more thing didnt marruchi say he was starting kevin jones their first rd pick and giving him almost all the carries from here on out? Kevin jones was on a tear in the first quarter with 8 carries 83 yards. He finished the game with 12 carries 99 yards. Is that giving your top pick, future rb the ball the whole game? What was shawn bryson doing in the game, almost the whole second half.

This all comes down coaching and its no wonder why marruchi has never won anything in sanfran. Yesterday's display was the worst coaching ive ever seen. Its the coaches job to make sure their wrs and tes catch footballs. If they cannot then fire the wrs coach.

Mooch rates up there with haslett, gruden and others as the worst coachs in the nfl.

Ps. i dressed k jones yesterday for ff and as i was getting my chips and salsa ready in celebration to a big day ff wise from my rb. In comes bryson who freggin scewed me not to mention fumbled and took away my rbs carries. Dont get me wrong i still think harrington sucks also but the media is hammering him for the lions not scoring tds. Blame that shit on mooch.

In defense of Williams, one of those passes was very low and he had to dive for it, but it appeared he should have caught it.

both passes were bad. one was behind him, n nearly in the defenders hands, the other was very low n he did have to dive. but after seeing wht he can do, i would say he shouldve caught both

I like Mariucci as a coach... It's Millen who has to go in Detroit.

You want to look at terrible coaches? I give you...Mike Martz. (Ugh!)

IMO Mike Tice is a horrible coach. He can't motivate his players, he doesn't know when to his challeges, he just a complete moron. He big and dumb hasn't taken the Vikings to the playoffs yet. Probably with some dumb luck they miss the playoffs again.

Really? You think he is that bad? I think he has his good points as well as bad. He's horrible at time management and some of his decisions, but I think he's a decent motivator. He certainly doesn't know how to discipline his players. But the fact is, he did take a team that was dessimated by Denny Green and create what should be a very strong team for the future.

I think the jury is out on him right now...if he fails to make the playoffs, then he should be fired. If he gets killed in the first round of the playoffs, then his job is in jeapordy. Anything else and he deserves a 1 year extension.

I totally agree. I think overall he is a good coach though. The most annoying part is how they start the games. The O will screw up a huge play, or somehow the first drive will end up being 3rd and 30. The D is never good in the first half. I would tend to blame the lack of focus in the first half on the coach. If he can get that fixed, they might have a pretty good team.

I dont think mike tice is bad coach at all. You play with the cards you are dealt. One thing is certain mike tice doesnt know how to manage a clock on and off the field like you said viks.

ESPECIALLY AT THE DRAFT, TWO YEARS IN ROW THE VIKINGS WERE PASSED UP TIL THEY CAME UP THEIR SELECTION.

Figured i bold it up for ya [IMG]
