what's the worst draft pick at a certain spot and trades you guys have seen so far. Worst Draft Pick: Carmello Anthony 1st round, 7th pick, are you kidding me? melo is cool, but over nowtizki? Jamal Crawford 2nd round, 4th pick (so out of 13 teams, it's like the 23rd pick), i love jc, but that was way too high.. Worst Trade: Eddy Curry for Stephon Marbury, curry hasn't even proved anything yet. Weird part it was the same guy who drafted carmello and trading for eddy curry, my friend is an idiot, he says his investment is going to be worth it...
In a public league someone had the 3rd pick I think with KG and Dirk taken, and the person picked LAMAR ODOM??? Amare Stoudemire picked #2 with Shaq picked at #1....who does that leave? KG, TD, etc. Carmelo Anthony got picked #13 before Yao Ming, Ben Wallace, Vince Carter, Baron Davis, Jermaine ONeal, Dirk Nowitzki....the list could go on. With my 26th pick...I got Baron Davis and players such as Qrich, CWebb, Arenas,Kmart, JKidd (out til December)...were picked before him AHAHA! At #72 pick I selected Richard Hamilton while #70 pick was Richard Jefferson...WOW! Some crazy things lol
My drafts have been pretty tough, I haven't gotten anyone without some level of knowledge at least. Only one person made a bad pick (they took Kidd in the first round, #7 overall), otherwise, the rest of the draft was fairly debatable.
I've seen Amare taken top 12 a lot. Sure the guy is on the up and will have a good year, but it's stupid to take a PF that high when far better options like (Jermaine and Ben Wallace, for starters) are still on the board.
