IMO it's Joe Crawford, he thinks the crowd comes to the game to watch him ref. He hands out technicals left and right and isn't sound at calling the rest of the game.Who's your least favorite ref?
Joe Crawford, he gave Duncan that T for absolutely no reason tonight. He is horrible and needs to be fired.

I've hated Joe Crawford for years, that recent call just gave me reason to start a thread.On a side note, I love Dan Crawford just because he clapped and laughed when Madsen tried to intentionally foul shaq in the Lakers/Wolves series a couple years ago and didn't call a foul.
I don't like Crawford myself, but I think Bavetta's the best in the game.On a side note, I was laughing and cheering with glee when Crawford ejected that f*cking prick Duncan today... I've NEVER liked Duncan, I think he's a piece of sh*t, and always will be. So that was cool to see!
Crawford is a sh*tty referee, but not nearly as bad as Violette palmer, Ron Olisiak, or Zach Zarba. Palmer has no clue what the hell she is doing and is the most inconsistant ref in the game. Olisiak has a hardon for Kobe like no man on Earth; one site had a stat that Kobe shoots on average 25 free throws per game when Olisiak refs. Zarba is just an idiot, plus his name reminds me of Zebra.the worst of all time though is Mike Mathis. He was a horrible referee who just liked to make bad calls.oh how can I forget Steve Javie, AKA the wanna be Pat Riley. He's another horrible referee. Other refs I hate are Bernie Fryer and Leon Woods. Woods took pleasure in making bad calls against guys from his own draft class(84). I seen him actually force both Jordan and Olajuwon out of a very important game with his bad fouls.
Steve Javie, for sure. The guy doesn't just hand out techs...he does it when Kobe just hands him the ball quote "too hard" or when a player gives him a bad look after a play...without talking mind you and gives them a technical. I am someone who actually likes Joe Crawford, he is the only ref that favors Kobe.
<span style="font-family:Arial">Steve Javie is the worst referee at deciding whether or not a shot is a three pointer. It seems like he never makes the right call in that situation, he's horrible at looking to see where the players feet are planted before the shot. I remember when Javie screwed the Clippers against the Rockets. The Clippers were down by 3 points with 3-4 seconds left, Cutino Mobley puts up a 3 pointer while being fouled. The shot was way beyond the 3 point line, it was extremely obvious. Steve Javie ruled the shot 2 free throws instead of 3. If I can find the video, I will post it up. Other than being bad at making those type of calls, he's a bad referee overall.If I were a Mavericks fan, I would HATE Dan Crawford. He holds some type of grudge against the Mavericks and makes it obvious.</span>
Joey Crawford for sure. The guy was a moron yesterday and is always a moron when he does the Cavs' games. I honestly can't stand the guy.
All referees and the NBA front office have hated the Pacers since the brawl but Violet Palmer is really bad. The only reason they keep her is because she's a woman.
I don't know. I don't pay attention to the different refs. I only know 4 off the top of my head. Dick Bevetta, Joey Crawford, Bennet Salvatore, and Violet Palmer (she sucks btw)...
No one really bothers me a lot, I think their jobs are very hard and its pretty much no win situation for them. I don't like when they call BS techs though and I don't like Leon Woods too much either, I think he was the one from few years ago that Detroit reported and they stopped him from reffing piston games the remainder of that season. It seems like he just really had it out for Detroit that year but other then that none of them really bother me a lot. I think Bavetta and Javie are some of the best.
Another ref who I hate but forgot the mention because she got fired years ago was Dee Kanter. she had a horrible habit of ejecting players who bumped into her, even if she was in the feild of play.
I'm going with the woman, Violet Palmer. I give her credit for standing up to these giants as a woman, but she makes the wrong calls way too often.
Atleast we can all be happy that the officiating is loads better in the NBA then the NCAA. We just have to realize that unless you want robots officiating, human error is part of the game in every facet.
the female ref, crawford, and that guy who refs raptors games that always makes LATE calls im talking ilke after they get the rebound, they will call a foul on the previous play.
Violet palmer sucks. I don't think she can see anyhintg since shes too short. She makes a lot of bad calls. Also don't like Tony Brothers. He refs a lot of raptors game one time last year and kept missing calls on the raptors but made all the calls on the raps.
