    Well sequels it was Home Alone 3 - however many there are.Remakes- I do not know.

There's only a few exceptions imo, The Fly, The Thing, Dawn of the Dead 04' a possibility(would have been better going by another title), etc. As for worst, if it does indeed go down, Revenge of the Nerds being remade pissed me off. Just because the original is a film I love but there's been classics ruined by terrible remakes, ie. Psycho as Tony stated, Wicker Man recently.
