LOL I remember that episode. Alice's mother tells Ralph the ending of the movie he's going to see and that's the last straw.
Vic that is my all time favorite episode, he had a timer and as soon as it went off he went ballistic.
Every episode of the Honeymooners was top of the line with the first clip of that video was my favorite. Gleason was right on time at anything he chose to do.
...I remember watching The Jackie Gleason show with Mom and Dad when I was a kid...I wanna say the show was out of Miami Beach or somewhere down in that direction.
...great flick...in real life boht Newman and Gleason were very good pool players which made filming The Hustler easier...with a very young George C Scott there's also a cameo appearance by the real Willie Mosconi;
I've heard that a lot of Gleason's real shots were filmed for the movie as he was actually an excellent pool player.
Yeah, Gleason was a very imperfect regular guy running around the streets of Brooklyn, NY. where he did hustle pool for money, amoung other things. Very talented guy in a lot of ways. Absolutely immortal as Ralph Kramden. Amazing how that show still remains relevant and timeless. The Hustler "Minnesota Fats" was a loud mouth bragger in real life and he was good but Willie Mosconi was the master of trick shots and his "runs" during tournaments were uncanny and still unmatched. Great movie and Gleason really was "the great one".
Right on the Money Rick, if this were a shooting gallery, you'd be dead on target..... Love the humor of this twit, who thinks he will be a POTUS.... If, that were to happen, I'd give Chump a year before a serious Internal ISIS threat is made on the boy's life....(I'd of said "man", but he's yet to prove as much, more of an overgrown punk, stuff shirted spoiled rich kid, who knows the value of little)....
