I think this team is a bit different than the Boston situation, where we have a bunch of pieces, that would allow us to do two consoliation trades, while keeping Gordon and one of Deng/Nocioni, and build around them.

Just looking at those names, I'd try to create a Phoenix Suns style team that is a defensively sound at the same time. (and if you didn't get the hint, that means trading for a point guard!). I was a proponent of getting Davis when he was on firesale a few years ago, and we could be seeing the results. A great point guard next to guys like Gordon and Deng would be amazing.

    Trade #1:

Bulls Receive: Jason Kidd and Jason Collins
Bulls Trade: Ben Walalce and Kirk Hinrich

    Trade #2:

Bulls Receive: Pau Gasol, Juan Carlos Navarro, Hakim Warrick
Bulls Trade: Andres Nocioni, Tyrus Thomas, Chris Duhon

    Trade #3:

    Bulls Receive: Ron Artest
Bulls Trade: Joakim Noah, Thabo Sefolosha, Viktar Khryapa

Essentially, we'd be left with the team of:

    PG-Jason Kidd/Juan Carlos Navarro
    SG-Ben Gordon/Demetris Nichols
    SF-Ron Artest/Hakim Warrick
    PF-Luol Deng/Joe Smith
    C- Pau Gasol/Jason Collins/Aaron Gray

I think we'd be a better team offensively and defensively making these moves. I think its possible, but would Paxson go for this type of overhaul?

    IDK.

The Kidd for Hinrich/Wallace and the Gasol for Nocioni/Thomas ones have been floating around in the media in the past week.

The Artest one is from the Kobe trade that apparently almost went down, just cutting out the Lakers side of the trade.
