This trade was rumored as to have been discussed between GS and Orlando: J-Rich and Cliff Robinson for Drew Gooden and Cuttino Mobley I personally think it makes sense for both teams, as GS would be getting the inside beef they need plus a nice scorer/defender who can break down defenses easily in Mobley. Plus this opens up even more minutes for Pietrus, and a nucleus of Gooden/Mobley/Dunleavy/Pietrus seems enticing, assuming they find a quality big man to complement the foursome.

I would like to have Gooden here but the way he wears his socks soooo high just looks stupid to me, I guess to me, it makes players look slow hahhahahaahahahahahahah
I dont want to do it. I like Clifs defense. I love Jrich. Gooden could be good, but I know Jrich is already good. Mobley is alright. Like I have said...Sub Dunleavy for Jrich and you have a deal. Or even Speedy and you have a deal.
There's a related thread to this, http://www.justbball.com/forums/showthread.php?t=20157 (it was back before McGrady was traded) but it talks a lot about Gooden/Mobley (along with a lot of other various proposals, though, so don't get too confused). I personally wouldn't pull the trade. I rather see what J-Rich can do this season, and probably would only trade him for an outstanding C, F or PG (well if we could ship one of our PG's as well.) If Gooden didn't heavily improve, it'd end up in the Magic's favor. I like Murphy more than Gooden, still, so Gooden might be sitting. Mobley and Cliff are both consistent players, so we know what to expect out of them. While Mobley's smart, and a good player, he's definitely hit his peak at age 29. Cliff is a great defender and can hit a 3, though he's streaky. I'd still rather have Cliff the vet counseling our troops than Mobley the vet, though. The trade really does come down to J-Rich, though.
I don't find the need for Gooden. The Warriors already have Murphy, Biendris, and Cliff who are all long and tall PF's, who can give just as much if not more than Gooden. So I don't like that part of the deal. Also when you add that Cliff is probably the best passer on the team or one of the few good passers on the team. And Cliff can knock down some shots from the three point range that can stretch the defense, and his defense is very good. So I don't like Gooden part. And then I always thought Mobley was inconsistant, but then again I don't know for sure since I don't or didn't follow the Rockets that much. And I like JRich and his abilities and everything. So if ther was an attractive big man involved maybe like a McGloire or...I guess there really aren't many good starting centers anymore...I would possibly trade JRich for Mobley if there was that good center coming to Oakland. But if it's Gooden for Cliff, then I don't know about that. This is a good videogame trade, since it is fairly even. But I don't like it for what the Warriors are trying to do right now. Even though I guess I don't really know what they are trying to do. But with the players they have I am not too excited about this deal or proposal.

The obvious plus would be that Gooden is a local guy and it would be a nice PR move to have him back here, but other than that, I'm just not seeing it. Robinson is a better post defender than Gooden right now, and Murphy and Biedrins will eventually fill out to be legit pf/c's while Gooden doesn't look like he'll ever be able to guard the western conference pfs. As for a Mobley/Richardson swap. I'd rather keep Richardson. You could make an argument that Mobley is better right now (though I don't believe so). But Richardson has more long term potential than Mobley.
No reason to downgrade SG and add yet another young PF to already crowded PF position. Over my dead body...
