This seems to be a divisive issue - so let's hold an election!

Can we get a more in the middle answer, like "possibly."

Yes. Easier to find another guard than an excellent big.

Kings management doesn't seem too bright, I would offer the McCollum but give them CJ's brother Errick.

I wouldn't do it if I didn't have to but I'd still do it.

I selected the only affirmative option, but my position is much less "F yeah" and more "it really depends on the details of the deal."

Let me revise this: if SAC sends back their 1st round pick with DMC then I'd definitely consider it. CJ signed to a long-term contract is worth WAY more than DMC on an expiring contract.

If cousins signed an extension immediately, yes. Otherwise probably not.

I'd rather swallow CJ's poison pill.

If Cousins is here to stay for more than a year then probably yes. If he does not guarantee that, not a chance.

Is it? CJ is a top 5 SG. Who would you replace him with? I would love Cousins on our team but only if we keep Dame & CJ, thus making us a bonafide contender.

Yeah for sure. Let's add KAT too, to play PF. Then we are set!

My answer would change based on whether it was part of a trade, or straight up.

Part of a trade IE: CJ, Player/Player+Pick - Cousins = No

Straight up: Yeah, I think I would go for it.

There are two factors in my mind regarding the CJ for Cousins question. Firstly, Cousins touches are going to have to come from somewhere, definitely affecting CJ's usage rate. However secondly, CJ is very efficient and could still be a big contribution with a decreased usage rate.

So it's a catch 22 because CJ could be a great 3rd player next to Dame and DMC. But at the same time adding Cousins would no doubt be a huge improvement on a team that seems to have spent the last decade looking for a solid big man. At times feeling like it would be ours if we could just get the right person at the 5 spot.

It's crazy that cousins assist numbers are comparable to CJs this year.

If Portland was a big time market like L.A. you would never see a post like this.

right, because big time markets have big time marking opportunities for stars to make side money that can even surpass their NBA checks... that and the whole rigged playoffs thing. But Portland isn't that so here we are...
