Did you intend to leave the "re" out of the thread title?

"maybe" for Manu in his prime? You trade Batum in a split second for Manu in his prime.

Now, it would be tough to pull the trigger.

Probably not. But if Batum proves himself to be nothing more than a backup to Gerry next year then....no. He'd be 34 and still injury prone.

I'd trade Batum for Parker or Blair but not Manu at this point in his career.

If it was CJ and Fernandez for him, I would pull the trigger in a heart beat! But who wouldn't as a Blazer Fan? LOL

If the Blazers were closer to competing like Boston or Dallas I would, Manu was an all-star this year. I don't think Batum will be close to that level. But I think we are at the least multiple season's away from being contenders so no I would stick with the much younger player even if he is inferior.

No Way in Hell! Nick will be an all star, he has 10-12 years left in the NBA, Manu has maybe 2... Batum is so young he would be a senior right now in college.

IMO the odds of Batum ever being an all-star is very slim!
