His pogo-stick impersonation seemed to awaken him because, as soon as he landed, he sprinted to the other end, took a pass from fellow rookie Thabo Sefolosha and powered home a two-handed dunk.

Cue tape of Friday night at the United Center. Thomas took off from just inside the circle, avoided a mild challenge from Kevin Garnett in midair and smashed home another two-handed crowd-pleaser.

Minutes later, Thomas found himself matched up against Garnett. Three fouls in 46 seconds later, the rookie gained momentum toward his early exit, fouling out in only 19 minutes.</div>

I haven't seen the guy play yet. But I can't wait to, every game it just seems like the kid won't be a bust. Well he's only gotten good publicity so far. But maybe someone who's seen him play can confirm this?
